Finally put it back on the ground after more than a year up on jack stands. The tank is completely clean inside, new in tank fuel screen installed, new fuel level sender unit installed, new fuel pump and a new fuel filter installed. I did an oil change and topped off the transmission fluid, and drove it down the road for a while before putting it back in the garage. Speaking of the garage I had to replace a 8 ' x 2' section of the floor at the front where the garage door is because the wood rotted out from rain and weather exposure. I replaced the floor section and painted it with an exterior paint to help protect the wood. I took the opportunity to fix up the rest of the outside of the garage where it was damaged during the last big hurricane we had. The next few projects on the car will be to flush and refill the coolant system, and then I need to start working on the electrical system, none of my indicators in the instrument pod are working. It starts right up when I turn the key now that the fuel tank is clean with a new fuel pump and filter. I know I need to replace all the old fuel lines and I need to start saving up for that...too many things to do so little money to do them...
