I had created a website to document the restoration of my favorite car, the Porsche 928, on Google Webpages about 5 years ago but I hadn't worked on that site for over a year. I deleted my email account a couple months ago because I never used it, not realizing that by doing that I also deleted the Webpage. So I am starting all over again, but actually this Weebly website is a lot better and easier to use then the Google site I had before.
So this new website is under construction. I will be adding a lot more content but for now there are pictures posted of the exterior of the car and pictures of the rust repair work i did on the door frames shortly after I bought the car.
As far as the 928, I am currently in the process of dropping the fuel tank out of the car, as you can see from the picture above. That's the tank hanging partially down and the fuel hoses. There is still one hose I need to disconnect before i can drop it all the way out of the car. I am pulling it out because I need to thoroughly clean it and replace the fuel screen inside the tank which has disintegrated. The broken pieces of this fuel screen or some other debris in the tank has killed 2 fuel pumps in less then three months so I have to clean the tank and replace the fuel screen. I will be adding more pictures and comments of this job as I make more progress on the Repairs page of this site.
